All other languages ignore the included custom texts. The Creative Assembly has also announced full Steam Workshop integration for Total War: Shogun 2, allowing users to create and upload their own Shogun 2 mods, or simply explore existing mods made by the community. This is because only the English language file system can directly read the custom texts from our mods. If you switch to English, then all custom texts appear without the need of the UPC. You can switch your language in the Steam options of Shogun 2. Then you can see all custom unit names, descriptions and other texts from the included mods.

Therefore this mod aims to create an universal localisation.loc file that can be used to make as many mods as possible compatible. Mods are not compatible if they all include an own language file which contains the file localisation.loc. Without the UPC you can not see these custom unit names, descriptions and other texts if you don't use the English language version. Most of these texts are from Unit Pack Mods, Gameplay Mods and Overhaul Mods. The graphic content of Shogun’s Empire: Hex Commander is depicted at a decent level. Everything looks nice and high quality. This should be a 256x256 png image with the same name as your mod. Make sure your mod pack has a unique name so it will not conflict with other mods, and that it is located in your Rome II data folder along with an image for your mod. Try on the role of the commander-in-chief of the army and try to unite all the lands under a single wing. Develop your fortress, get resources and get ready for battles. Defend lands and go hiking to expand your territory. Keep fighting, don’t give up and do your best to recreate the once mighty empire. Do not forget about the economy of your state, which you will need for your further development and power. After all, this way you can lure enemy soldiers to your side, who will fight for you! The gameplay will give you enough freedom, show yourself and try to create the strongest army that will not leave the enemies a single chance. Now you have made a mod, uploading it to Steam Workshop is a simple process.
